Qualifications and Experience
I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling & Psychotherapy accredited by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). UKCP LinkI am registered with the UKCP and abide by the UKCP code of ethics.
As well as my private practice, I have 8 years experience working as a bereavement counsellor, at Wandsworth Bereavement Service and 3 years experience working in a private psychiatric hospital setting as an Integrative Psychotherapist, running groups and seeing patients 1:1. I also have 6 years experience of working within an organisational setting for Transport For London as a Counsellor and Trauma Practitioner in their Occupational Health Department.
I am a registered EMDR Practitioner with the EMDR Association UK and Ireland.
My Personal Approach
My therapeutic style is Integrative, drawing from CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Psychodynamic and Transpersonal approaches to Psychotherapy. I also use EMDR therapy where appropriate within my therapeutic practice.
